Course Description
This course on photographic theory and critical approaches explores the conceptual and cultural aspects of photography. It examines the history, aesthetics, and social impact of photography, encouraging students to critically analyse images, understand visual narratives, and engage with contemporary debates surrounding photography as an art form and medium of communication.

Where will this course take place?
Our studio is located near Shoreditch, and the course will take place in and around this vibrant area. Shoreditch offers a variety of locations, providing diverse settings for practicing location lighting techniques. From urban streets to hidden spots, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to explore and apply different lighting methods in real-world environments.
What if I am not good at English?
Clear, easy to understand lessons:
Our tutors use simple and accessible English to explain everything. If they need to use any special terms, they’ll make sure to explain them clearly.
New methods are taught through live demonstrations, so you can easily follow along and understand.
We also have staff members who speak fluent Mandarin, so language won’t be an issue for you!
