Course Description
A study of the different portrait techniques and the lighting techniques that create them. Covers composition, colour, interpretation, lighting, movement, decisive moment, portraits and abstracts with reference to classic pictures. Both involve looking at well-known pictures and assignments and are as hands-on practical as possible.

Where will this course take place?
Our studio is located near Shoreditch, and the course will take place in and around this vibrant area. Shoreditch offers a variety of locations, providing diverse settings for practicing location lighting techniques. From urban streets to hidden spots, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to explore and apply different lighting methods in real-world environments.
What if I am not good at English?
Clear, easy to understand lessons:
Our tutors use simple and accessible English to explain everything. If they need to use any special terms, they’ll make sure to explain them clearly.
New methods are taught through live demonstrations, so you can easily follow along and understand.
