Course Description

Build practical photography skills from the ground up and develop them into a professional career.

The Complete Professional Photography Course is a comprehensive, hands-on programme designed to take you from photography fundamentals to professional practice. You will develop practical experience across digital and analogue photography, studio and location lighting, fashion, beauty, portrait, product and documentary photography.

Through practical shoots and real-world projects, you will build technical confidence, creative experience and a professional portfolio. The programme also covers business practice, career development and exhibition image production, helping you turn your photography skills into real career opportunities.

Full-time students also receive complimentary access to selected additional workshops, as well as one complimentary opportunity to participate in London Fashion Week, giving you valuable experience in a real professional environment.

  • Throughout the programme, you will receive guidance and feedback from professional tutors to help develop your photography and creative direction.

    • Prepare your work for professional opportunities and exhibitions

  • After completing a studio induction and coordinating with your tutor, you may use our professional studio for your non-commercial photography projects, subject to availability.

    This gives you more opportunities to practise, experiment and develop your portfolio outside your scheduled classes.

    Tutor guidance may also be available to support your shoot with lighting and other technical techniques.

  • Our studio is located near Shoreditch, and the course will take place in and around this vibrant area. Shoreditch offers a variety of locations, providing diverse settings for practicing location lighting techniques. From urban streets to hidden spots, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to explore and apply different lighting methods in real-world environments.

  • Clear, easy to understand lessons:

    • Our tutors use simple and accessible English to explain everything. If they need to use any special terms, they’ll make sure to explain them clearly.

    • New methods are taught through live demonstrations, so you can easily follow along and understand.

    • We also have staff members who speak fluent Mandarin, so language won’t be an issue for you!

  • We run three programme intakes each year in September, January and May. Your programme is valid for 12 months, allowing you to continue into the next intake if you have any outstanding workshops to complete.
